The sun is a very inspirational celestial body that shines brightly upon Earth. I love astronomy and I love star gazing on a clear night. Our star is the most powerful thing in our solar system. It’s brightness shines continuously and it’s energies are life creating. It’s no surprise that so many cultures have worshiped the sun. The sun is loved by so many so I decided to dedicate a poem to it.
The wonderful Earth our home. Such a beautiful place God spared no expense in giving us the best place to learn and experience life. This poem brings just a few of the most favorable things about our wonderful planet. This poem also demonstrates the unknown and some of the things we fear. Heart and Earth have the same letters. So let us use our hearts to view the Earth with our best intentions.
The design of this poem is somewhat of a warning or a chance to read the sign posts ahead. Nurture Nature is a gentle reminder that says we can expect consequences for our actions. The Earth is one of many when we think of planets but it’s the one that’s the most important to us. Our live’s are not possible without it. Our precious home needs more love and care to recover from the devastating effects that have already created a tremendous amount of problems. Now more than ever we need to band together and show others that we can make a difference so that others will follow. Leaders who fear change only find greed as their ally.
So just like the poem says I lost my job had to make ends meet. I decided the quickest way to get working again was to start driving trucks. The poem also talks about how tough it is or how easy it is for new drivers to be fired and unable to drive again. Truth is about less than fifty percent of new drivers make it through the gauntlet. The gauntlet describes all the different things a new driver must go through before ever getting their assigned truck. Safety is the most important thing when driving one of the most dangerous ways to travel is by motor vehicle. Three things are crucial when driving. First is vehicle speed, second is vehicle spacing and lastly attention to the road. It is very important to learn the rules of the road.
Anger Management says it all. So I decided to write a poem about my anger. I allowed myself to suffer on many levels. My anger was out of control. I found that cell phones last much longer when they’re not being thrown against the wall. I needed to recognize that my alcoholism was fueling the fire for my anger. I dealt with severe depression and suicidal thoughts for a few years after I lost one of my close friends to suicide . My anger seemed to always result in a temper tantrum and things usually got broken. Strength testing everything gets expensive after a while and quite embarrassing.
